Welcome to my Electronic Portfolio!

Hi!  My name is Erin McConnell and I am a graduate student at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.  I am studying the Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.  My undergraduate degree is in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
My student teaching experiences have all been wonderful and unique.  For my undergraduate placements I was in a kindergarten classroom and then in a fifth grade classroom.  My graduate placements took me in an entire different direction.  I was faced with the constant change of schedule as an itinerant teacher and then challenged with a third and fourth grade hearing support classroom.
This portfolio will give more information about me and my experiences.  Enjoy!

My passion is to teach deaf and hard of hearing children whether it be in a classroom or on the road as an itinerant.  My four student teaching placements, my education, and my summers spent at deaf camp all helped to shape me into the person and teacher that I am and the person that will be successful in any teaching position.
